While we casually use the word "hope" to express a mere wish that something good will come, biblical hope is something stronger: a firm confidence in a powerful, living, and loving God who has promised us that He will never leave nor forsake us. Drawing from several scriptures in the Psalms and the New Testament, Brother Richard calls us to "Be strong and let [our] heart take courage" as we wait and hope in the Lord (Ps. 31:24).
